A game which combines first-person online shooter mechanics with elements of sandbox games such as Minecraft. It was developed by the independent studio, Blowfish. The game features unique, pixel art visuals and a single player story campaign which can be completed either by sticking to the storyline or re-shaping it by taking different actions.
Gunscape for PC, PS4 and etc. is a first person shooter game set in a world that bears a strong resemblance to environments one could observe in the bestselling Minecraft developed by Mojang. Gunscape was created by the Blowfish studio.
Gameplay
Gunscape for PC, PS4 and etc. offers both the singleplayer and multiplayer modes. The player creates multiplayer maps himself. Thanks to the implemented editor, the player can easily create their maps using blocks and tools. These allow to re-shape the terrain or to construct different buildings. Interestingly, the player can make corrections to their map even during a multiplayer session with other players. When creating a map, the player has access to different kinds of customization possibilities, which makes the entire process significantly easier. The player can share any of their maps with others freely.
Game modes
Gunscape for PC, PS4 and etc. offers a set of different game modes. In the singleplayer campaign, the player either sticks to the storyline or remodels it with their own actions. The player can cooperate with another player in a co-op mode as well. The game features also a few standard PvP modes, such as Deathmatch, Point Capture or Capture the Flag.
Technical aspects
The visuals resemble a set of other games featuring environments made of blocks that are so strongly associated with Minecraft. Moreover, characters move in a "fossilized" way, but the gameplay is fast-paced and dynamic.
