Viking Land is a free browser-based MMORPG released by the German company Looki. Players take on the role of the title Nordic warriors and travel through the magical world of Myten. The plot of the title contains a number of references to early medieval legends and Scandinavian mythology.
Nordic sagas, full of heroes and monsters, are a perfect base for game creators. The development team of Looki decided to use this potential by offering players a browser-based MMORPG production, in which they can play the role of the Vikings.
The action of the Viking Land was set in the world of Myten, modelled on early medieval Europe. Players take on the role of a Nordic warrior (or warrior) dreaming of immortal glory. However, the road to power and wealth is long and arduous....
Each viking in the game is described by a set of coefficients determining his strength, dexterity, physical fitness and intelligence. These attributes can be increased by gaining enough experience. Equally important is the acquisition and training of combat skills, for which in turn you have to pay a certain amount of thalers. Fortunately, there is no shortage of opportunities to get rich and gain experience. Players can undertake a variety of missions, duel with other Vikings in the arenas, set off on long journeys, and even work as a mercenary.
The game is based mainly on the text layer, but its creators took care of the atmospheric visual setting and a pleasant background sound.
It is worth noting that the Viking Land can be played for free. Some options and facilities require payment in "crystals". - a special currency offered for real money.
