Gremlins 2: The Elite New Batch is one of two arcade games, based on the story of a fantasy comedy popular in the early nineties. The action of the program throws us to New York, where due to an unfortunate coincidence extremely malicious creatures, called Gremlin, hatch. The player takes on the role of Billy Peltzer, whose task is to stop the ugliness before it ruins the metropolis.
The game is divided into several stages, in which the locations known from the film are to be overcome. Your hero is armed with a flashlight that shoots with luminous rays and it is with its help that he will destroy Gremlin. In addition, Billy is able to jump over rolling enemies, which is extremely important, as the first contact with monsters leads to death and the loss of one of the additional "live". Gameplay is not the easiest game and it is certainly not a product addressed to the layman. Only real veterans of the species have the greatest chances for the final success.
Visually, Gremlins 2: The New Batch is above average. A big disadvantage of the game is poor sound - yes, we will find here a mandatory music theme and various effects, but the need to use a PC Speaker significantly weakens their quality. Like most film-based productions, Gremlins 2: The New Batch leaves a lot to be desired. Nevertheless, both the specific climate of the game and the high level of difficulty can be appreciated by platforming maniacs.
