Batman: The Movie

Batman: The Movie is an arcade game, which, as you can easily guess, is based on the plot of the film under the same title. The player playing the role of the Dark Knight will have to curb the criminal drive of Joker and save the city of Gotham from extinction.

The game is divided into five separate arcade sections. In the first of these - the platform - Batman has to pass through the Axis chemical factory and throw Jack Napier into a barrel filled with acid. The Dark Knight can hit the gangsters he encounters by firing missiles, he also has a rope at his disposal, which allows him to overcome distant platforms. The second chapter is Batmobilem's escape from the Joker harvest in the streets of Gotham. The aim of this stage is to take corners, avoid other cars and reach the Bat Cave. The third level - for a change, typically logical - takes place in Batman's hideout. The player's task here is to find from the list of cosmetics, the only one in which poison is contained. Level Four is a memorable flight over Gotham, in which our hero has to catch all the balloons containing feral gas. The end of the game is a slow climb to the top of the cathedral (made in a similar way as the first stage), where the final battle with Joker will take place. Of course, between successive arcade sequences, we can see static images, referring to the film and introducing elements of the remnant plot.
