A two-dimensional arcade-adventure game based on the popular animated series Gravity Falls. The game was created by Ubisoft and Alex Hirsch, the creator of the said cartoon series. The player assumes the roles of two main characters from the original series - an inquisitive boy called Dipper and his eccentric sister by the name of Mabel.

Gravity Falls: Legend of the Gnome Gemulets on the Nintendo 3DS console is a two-dimensional adventure and arcade game based on the popular American animated TV series Disney XD, entitled Gravity Falls. Ubisoft is responsible for creating the production. The developers worked closely with Alex Hirsch, the originator and director of the cartoon, who prepared a completely original script for the game.

The protagonists of Gravity Falls: Legend of the Gnome Gemulets is a couple of main characters of the TV series - a curious boy named Dipper and his eccentric sister Mabel. The siblings spend their holidays in a small North American town full of mysteries and unexplained phenomena under the care of their uncle. During the adventure siblings will try to help gnomes looking for magical amulets that keep the nearby forest alive.

Production is a classic two-dimensional adventure with platform elements. Players explore the locations and places that appeared on the small screen, while interacting with characters known to the fans of the series. We collect tips and items needed to solve numerous riddles. Thanks to cooperation with ingenious gnomes, the siblings have a rich arsenal of fantastic gadgets, opening the way to various unexplored nooks and crannies of Water Thunder. Players can switch between Dipper or Mabel at any time. Each of them has a different set of skills, such as the ability to search for clues with a flashlight or climb the rope to places that are not normally available. During the adventure the heroes will also be attacked by enemies, which they can cope with thanks to a simple arcade combat system.

The graphic design was prepared with the help of the graphic engine UbiArt, which propelled the games Child of Light, Rayman Legends or Valiant Hearts, praised by critics. Thanks to this technology, Legend of the Gnome Gemulets reminds us of another episode of Disney cartoon. The backgrounds are full of details and the character animation is at a very high level.
