Goo Saga, available on PC, iOS and AND, is a 2D platformer with logic elements created by Toka Loka Games. The company hasn't made a big hit so far, but for those who play on mobile devices can recognize The Bait.
Plot
The game takes place in a secret underwater laboratory, where a mysterious scientist tries to bring a new being to life. After many unsuccessful experiments, he finally manages to create the titular Goo - a strange, flexible creature. Shortly afterward, however, the "creator" disappears, and his protégé must find him in order to find out why it was brought to life at all.
Mechanics
Goo Saga is a 2D platformer, slightly reminiscent of Leo's Fortune released in 2014. Leading the titular Goo, we travel through the next rooms of the laboratory. The hero, however, is a rather clumsy being, so overcoming the location can be a bit difficult. The gameplay focuses on jumping on platforms, as well as solving various puzzles. They differ depending on the stage, but they are usually about moving objects, open locked doors and so on. During the game, we gain crystals, which are necessary to improve the Goo's abilities. The game features a total of 20 levels, 12 types of opponents, four bosses, and two different endings.
Game modes
Goo Saga, available for PC, iOS and AND platforms, features a story campaign with three difficulty levels - Deflated, Normal and Inflated - which differ in the challenges offered to the players. In addition, we can also play Survival and Time Trial modes, and use the level editor. Levels created by other players are available on the game's servers - we can download and rate levels created by others.
Technical aspects
Goo Saga attracts attention with its colourful stylistic and diverse locations. The game also features a pleasant soundtrack, consisting of 18 tracks.
