GoNNER 2 is the second part of the action platform game with roguelike elements, in which we play Ikk again. The same independent Art In Heart studio is responsible for the sequel.

Plot

The action of the game takes place in a strange, surreal and even more chaotic world. In GoNNER 2 we play the role of an altruistic hero called Ikk, known from the first installment. This time he's going to help Death. Her lair was taken over by mysterious beings, which should be eliminated.

Mechanics

GoNNER 2 is a mix of dynamic action platform game and roguelike and is characterized by randomly generated levels, which makes the experience after each death slightly different. We get to twisted and non-linearly constructed locations where we have to shoot our attacking enemies, including the more challenging bosses.

As is the case with games of the roguelike sub-genre, Ikk often dies, but his death does not result in the loss of unlocked and developed skills as the game progresses. GoNNER 2 couldn't lack a lot of secrets and various heads and weapons that help to eliminate enemies.

Game modes

GoNNER 2, like the first part, does not have a multiplayer mode, but the game offers challenges and the points scored in them can be compared with other players in online rankings.

Technical aspects

GoNNER 2 design keeps the style of the original from 2016. It is still characterized by quite simple, two-dimensional graphics, but this time the world has taken on colors.
