Golden Land: Cold Heaven PC

First official add-on to the 2003 release of cRPG. The plot of the add-on continues the thread presented in the right title. The victory of a student of the Great Heroes School over the evil god, Chernobog, seriously disturbed the balance between the forces of good and evil, leading to a catastrophe on an unimaginable scale. A powerful explosion destroyed Chernobog's fortress, and the main character also found himself on the frosty and ice-covered island of Alberia. It is a land inhabited by people who are divided and hostile towards the newcomers, and often there are bloody civil wars. The player must help the hero to return to his homeland, and as you can easily guess, the way back will not be easy....

The mechanics of the game remained practically unchanged. The main character travels to other cities, performs hundreds of quests, meets many interesting people, and from time to time fights with local monsters. The add-on introduces seven new metropolises that can be visited and about forty extended locations to the fun. There are about 200 NPCs in the game, each of which is characterized by a different personality. Many of them willingly commission various side tasks. Some subquestures can be performed in many different ways and can also be mutually exclusive. The authors of the add-on took care of the improved AI of the people they meet, whose reactions depend on the player's actions. Plugin introduces several hundred new items to the game world. The development process of the controlled hero has also been improved by introducing many unknown skills and spells (six schools of magic). The plot of the game in many moments is non-linear, there are also four endings.
