A funny puzzle game that allows you to solve riddles resembling three-dimensional puzzles, stylized on the colored heads of monsters. Production uses virtual or augmented reality technologies. It was created by an independent studio KO_OP and released by Double Fine Presents.

GNOG is an original 3D puzzle game that uses touch interface. The title enables the players to explore the full range of surprises and mysteries to be found in... heads of strange monsters. The title is also distinguished by colorful visuals and support for VR/AR technology. The game was developed by the independent studio KO_OP (in the past they helped Square Enix to work on Lara Croft GO). The publisher was Double Fine (as part of the Double Fine Presents brand).

Mechanics

GNOG is about solving three-dimensional puzzles - we operate various elements of monster heads, rotating them, opening and activating various functions - e.g. switching levers, moving wheels or rotating shelves. When playing we also find collectibles (e.g. coins). We use motion controllers (in case we play VR), gamepads, or a mouse and keyboard to control the game.
