Plot

Exploring it, we once again play the role of a brave mouse named Tilo. We return to the hero some time after he left Dwindling Heights Keep to finally reunite with his wife, Meera, after a long separation. However, it quickly turns out that the protagonist is not destined to experience a peaceful life, as a new adventure awaits him.

Game mechanics

As part of it, Tilo has to complete a number of various tasks - most of them are given by NPCs, with whom it is possible to talk ("spoken" lines, however, should be read, since the production, like the original, does not have dubbing in any language). For the missions carried out, the protagonist primarily explores the open world of the game in search of the indicated items.

In Ghost of a Tale 2 - as in the first part - great focus is placed on stealth. So the player repeatedly has to use his own cleverness and ingenuity to evade the watchful eyes of enemies and sneak behind their backs. He is partly helped by barrels or other objects in which he can hide, as well as bottles and sticks, which are used to stun opponents and divert their attention.

The simple character development system known from the original also returned. As the story progresses, Tilo acquires useful skills, significantly facilitating his survival. For the latter it is also necessary to disguise himself in the armor of enemies, providing the hero with perfect camouflage.
