Get Packed

Get Packed is a rather unusual, humorous production in which players assume the role of members of the team helping people to move. The game offers gameplay based on quite simple assumptions and a four-player cooperative mode. The game was created by independent developers from the British company Moonshine Studios as their debut project. The game was published by Coastsink.

Mechanics

In Get Packed, players observe the action from the top-down perspective. The gameplay involves collection of various types of items located in the house and then putting them into the vehicle and trying to deliver them to their destination. Many things can go wrong at different stages of the game (e.g. if players are not careful, they can cause a car accident).

Moonshine Studios has a sense of humor and an advanced physics system that is responsible for how the objects move. The gameplay features a high level of dynamics - players are forced to show agility and make instant decisions.

In Get Packed , one can play alone or with others - via the four-player local cooperation mode.

Technical aspects

Get Packed has nice, but rather simple, three-dimensional visuals. One won't find any advanced effects or complex 3D environments here. Instead, the creators focused on simplicity and a sense of humour. The artistic design of this production is somewhat reminiscent of animated films for children (e.g. the Toy Story series).
