An extended version of the racing game Gear.Club Unlimited 2, developed by Eden Games studio. Gear.Club Unlimited 2 Porsche Edition introduces Porsche cars and allows us to take part in the new campaign. The whole game was enriched with all DLC released to the basic version of the game.
Gear.Club Unlimited 2 Porsche Edition is an expanded version of the 2018 racing game Gear.Club Unlimited 2, developed by the authors of the original, i.e. Eden Games, which previously worked on, among others, the iconic Test Drive Unlimited series.
Mechanics
Compared to the original, Gear.Club Unlimited 2 Porsche Edition is distinguished by the presence of Porsche cars. In addition, for the purposes of this edition of the game, the devss have prepared a new campaign called Porsche Series, in which we get an opportunity to take part in new races. The whole game has been enriched with all DLC released for the base game, i.e. Arrows Pack, Checker Pack, Hazard Pack, Wings Pack and Free Pack; each of them gives us additional cars.
The mechanics of the game have not changed in any way. We take part in races on gravel and asphalt tracks, perform various missions and face special challenges. Cars that we unlock as we progress are customizable. In addition, club management plays an important role, to which we recruit better and better drivers over time.
Game modes
Gear.Club Unlimited 2 Porsche Edition can be played solo or in the company of other players. Up to eight players can play online and four on split screen.
Technical aspects
While working on Gear.Club Unlimited 2 Porsche Edition, the devs did not make any changes to the original designs. However, the game can be appealing, especially given the limited capabilities of the Nintendo Switch console.
