Total Extreme Warfare 2004 Description
Unofficial continuation of Adam Ryland's "Extreme Warfare" series. "Total Extreme Warfare 2004" is the first professional manager related to the subject of free style stockpiles popularly known as wrestling. The player plays the role of a promoter. His basic duties include: organizing fights, taking care of selected wrestlers in a broad sense, as well as preparing all the facilities that will make up a successful show (presence of TV stations, appropriate ring, etc.).
"TEW 2004" develops the ideas presented in a series of Ryland games. Wrestlers themselves play an important role. When deciding whether or not to take them under their wings, the player has to take into account a number of important factors. Apart from the basic parameters such as height or weight category, the image in the media or the ability to convince the audience to be right are no less important. The player can view the statistics of the selected wrestler at any time, which take into account, among other things, the balance of fights he has fought. In case of choosing a particular person, the player signs a detailed contract with them, in which they can take out insurance or provide additional benefits (for example in the form of a free limousine or other luxuries).
An important role is played by the promotion of the fighting itself (10 types of actions to choose from). The duels take place in one of about 100 arenas located in the United States, Mexico, Japan, Great Britain, Australia and Asia. They differ, among other things, in the preferences of viewers with regard to the fights they watch. Additional care over wrestlers is provided by an efficient module of artificial intelligence, which also "protects" them against the actions of competing companies. In addition, network options are available. A maximum of four players can stand for a multiplayer duel.
The game's visualisation resembles popular managers. The player moves on static boards and spends most of his time browsing through the statistics that are important from his company's point of view. "Total Extreme Warfare 2004" also offers an extensive editor, thanks to which you can easily adjust the course of the game to your own preferences.
