Tower of Mask

Tower of Mask is an action RPG with elements of survival horror, inspired by the dungeon crawlers of the 1980s. The production was developed by the independent Papertip Studio from Japan.

The plot of

Tower of Mask takes us to the titular Tower of Mask, which is a hotbed of evil and home to violent people. During the gameplay, we play the role of a daredevil who decides to cross its pr?gue to face the dangers lurking inside. Although we are not the first to venture here, we may become the first to make it out of this place in one piece.

Gameplay

In Tower of Mask, we view the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). While exploring the titular tower, we have to be on guard, as it is teeming with traps such as sinkholes and spikes protruding from the ground. In addition, we often have to solve environmental puzzles, as well as fight against masked attackers. We eliminate the enemies by using white weapons (such as swords or hacksaws) and firearms (led by a pistol).

Although the clashes take place in real time, it is not dexterity that determines our success, but tactical sense and the ability to anticipate enemy movements. A grid-based movement system has been implemented in the game, so we don't have full freedom in this matter. In addition, positioning in the right place is crucial, as it allows you to avoid attacks, among other things. All this makes it necessary to do one's best not to be driven into a corner.

As we progress, we accumulate better weapons and armor. In addition, we develop the character by improving its abilities.
