Liar's Bar Description
Liar's Bar is a first-person online game about deceiving our opponents while playing traditional bar games. The game was produced by the Turkish studio Curve Animation. Apart from video game production, the company also specializes in creating animated films and series.
Gameplay
In Liar's Bar we find ourselves with other players in a shady pub. Sitting at one table, we play typical bar games for such a place. We have four types available: Liar's Deck, Liar's Dice, Liar's Poker, and Liar's Roulette. Each of them is based on a traditional gambling game. For example, Liar's Dice is nothing more than a "rolling dice" with the possibility of bluffing.
In this game, each player throws the dice under cover, and then places a bet - truthfully or not. The next player must raise the bet by increasing the number of dice or the value of the face. He can also question the move of his predecessor, calling him a liar. The loser drinks poison or shoots himself in the head in a form of Russian roulette. However, this is not associated with immediate death.
In the case of Russian roulette, which accompanies the card game, we can survive each time if we do not draw the bullet. In such a case, the cards are shuffled again, and the game continues. When it comes to drinking poison, we have a second chance before dropping out of the game. Our goal is to survive at all costs and remain the last player at the table.
Apart from choosing the type of game, we also choose the character that will represent us at the table. We have crazy characters to choose from, such as the bandit dog Scubbie, the goth fox Foxy, the butcher pig Bristle, or the bull Toar. Each character has their own short story, which we get to know at the table.
