Crow Country

Crow Country is an old-school survival horror action adventure game reminiscent of PlayStation 1 games. It was developed by an indie studio SFB Games, also known for Tangle Tower.

Plot

Crow Country is set in 1990. Its protagonist is Mara Forest, who ventures into the titular Crow Country - a huge amusement park, which unexpectedly closed two years ago. She wants to find out what happened to its founder - Edward Crow - and verify the chilling rumors about him.

Mechanics

Crow Country makes use of the top-down perspective. The player traverses dark areas, solves environmental puzzles and talks to NPCs. We must stay vigilant, as there are many enemies roaming the park. Mary can fight off these horrifying monsters using firearms, like a pistol and a shotgun, or more destructive weapons, like a flamethrower.

Technical aspects

Crow Country stands out from modern survival horror games thanks to its low poly visuals. The soundtrack is atmospheric and fits the tone well.
