A sports strategy game inspired by Football Manager and XCOM. Football, Tactics & Glory: World lets us lead local clubs and national teams, both managing them and participating in turn-based matches.
Football, Tactics & Glory: World is a sports game and a cross between a football club management simulator and a turn-based strategy game. It was developed by a Ukrainian studio Creoteam, letting us play as a novice coach, tasked with leading local or national teams to victory.
The game is inspired by such series as XCOM and Football Manager.
Mechanics
Football, Tactics & Glory: World has us create our own coach, whom we then lead through a long career. We can either take over a top-tier club or slowly guide a lower league team to greatness. Over time, our successes will bring other job offers from other teams. The game's most important mechanic are turn-based matches, in which we command our players to slide, shoot or pass. Oftentimes we'll need to confront opposing players, the clash's outcome depending on the players' stats.
Apart from leading our team during matches, we must also make crucial decisions during the economy and club management. We must develop the infrastructure, transfer players, loan young players to lower leagues (or rent out rising stars ourselves) and establish a training regime to ensure our players' growth. We'll be assisted by a team of specialists, whom we also select ourselves.
A new feature are player nationalities, affecting their unique behavior. Differing countries' sports culture means players of identical positions and similar skills can regardless impact the match differently. These changes let the creators introduce international competitions, including world and continental championships. Our playable character in Football, Tactics & Glory: World can also lead one of the national teams, if his reputation's high enough.

The game features singleplayer and multiplayer. The latter supports hot seat, as well as competitive and cooperative play,
Technical aspects
Football, Tactics & Glory: World lets us create our own tournaments, edit teams and player appearances. This means that despite the lack of licenses (the game features names and crests reminiscent of popular teams), it's easy to recreate authentic players. Just like the previous game, it also supports Twitch functionality, such as viewer interaction, which can make the game more challenging.
