No Place Like Home Description
No Place Like Home is a agricultural simulator in which we play the role of the last people who stayed on Earth after the rest of humanity moved to Mars. The protagonists are trying to deal with a destroyed and wasted world, repairing the environment and regaining contact with nature. The Chicken Launcher studio has developed this game. Realms Distribution is the publisher.
Plot
Have you ever thought about what life on Earth would look like if most of humanity would move to Mars? No Place Like Home tries to answer that question by allowing the player to guide the last humans left on the destroyed and polluted planet, which is the homeland of our race.
Mechanics
No Place Like Home is a farming simulator, inspired by such games as Harvest Moon or My Time at Portia. Playing from a third person perspective TPP camera) we explore the 3D environment and collect various kinds of resources, thanks to which we can construct buildings, plant various kinds of crops, as well as breed animals.
Managing a farm, performing tasks (there are several dozen of them) and establishing relationships with NPCs play a key role here. Gradually, we are acquiring better and better equipment, thanks to which it is easier to take care of our farm and we have access to more possibilities and crops.
Just like in My Time at Portia, the player also has the opportunity to explore the dungeons, where he can find all kinds of treasures.
Game modes
In No Place Like Home we can only play alone. The core of the game is a single player sandbox mode.
Technical aspects
No Place Like Home offers good, 3D graphic design, which has a clearly comic book style, thus resembling somewhat Fortnite and World of Warcraft. Particularly noteworthy is this interesting world project - for example, the credible ruins of cities.
