Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days Description
Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days for XONE and PC is top-down shooter developed by Big Star Games.
The Plot
As the title suggests, the game is based Reservoir Dogs, a 1992 cult film directed by Quentin Tarantino.
The plot tells the story of a group of criminals known from the film: Mr. Blonde, Mr. Orange, Mr. Pink, Mr. White, Mr. Brown, and Mr. Blue. The’ve created the group to do a couple of spectacular heists. None of them is a crime genius, so their actions are always brutal and leave a trail of dead bodies behind.
Mechanics
In terms of mechanics, Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days for XONE and PC is a top-down shooter with a time manipulation mechanic. As we play, we will do spectacular heists that will require us to get through the well- armed security and cops that will try to stop us.
We can take up to three criminals for a single mission. We control each of them individually, but it happens in a rather unusual way thanks to the Time Back mechanics. We will use it to go back in time and take control of a different character. At the same time, the criminal we controlled before will execute the same moves as we did while we played as him. We will have to do the same fragments of a heist from the perspective of a couple of our teammates in order to create a well-coordinated action. Of course, most of the time we won’t manage to achieve that perfect score at the first try and we will have to jump between the criminals and improve our tactics.
