Way of the Dogg Description
Way of the Dogg, released on X360 and PS3, is a music fighting game featuring Snoop Dogg, a popular rapper. This is the debut production of Echo Peak studio, which was founded by a duo composed of Ciaran Walsh and Ste Curran - people responsible for the logical music game Chime.
Plot
The game tells the story of a warrior named America Jones. His girlfriend Sierra was murdered and the hero's only desire is revenge. He goes to a temple managed by Snoop Dogg to learn the titular fighting style. The story doesn't take itself seriously. The game refers to martial arts movies from the 70s - this is apparent both in terms of the story and audiovisuals.
Mechanics
Way of the Dogg has twenty levels. Our task is to win a series of duels with other warriors. The combat system is based on solutions found in music games - attacking requires the right rhythm to Snoop Dogg's songs.
Game modes
The game also has a multiplayer mode which allows you to face other players. We develop our own skills in the training mode, where the rapper acts as a teacher.
