A strategy game designed mainly for multiplayer play, constituting a computer adaptation of the cult board game Talisman: Revised Fourth Edition. The production and release of Talisman: Digital Edition was handled by the British studio Nomad Games in cooperation with Games Workshop.

Talisman: Digital Edition is a game developed by the Nomand company. It is based on the Talisman board game license, which was originally released back in 1983. The production is based on the principles of the revised fourth edition of the system from December 2008, which was developed by Fantasy Flight Games.

The game tells the story of an adventurer who is looking for an artifact called the Crown of Command. Its owner can destroy any enemy and become the ruler of the whole world. However, obtaining this artifact is incredibly difficult and requires courage, strength, and even luck, as the road is full of dangers.

The player assumes the role of one of 14 characters, who are divided into different classes. There is, among others, mage, knight, druid, and thief. Each character has different skills, weapons, and properties. With the passage of time and progress in the game, you can develop and improve them, providing them with better weapons, spells, and powers.

The game is a faithful adaptation of the board game, Talisman: Revised Fourth Edition. The game is turn-based. Events resulting from cards drawn from the deck also have an impact on the gameplay. The player may draw an ability-supporting item, or hit a bunch of monsters that deplete his health. The game is designed mainly for multiplayer mode for up to 4 people, but the creators provided the possibility of playing against artificial intelligence.

Talisman: Digital Edition includes a digital version of the manual, explaining all the intricacies of the system and giving tips for both newbies and those familiar with the system.
