Fuser

Fuser is a music game that allows us become a world-famous DJ. The game was developed by Harmonix, a studio specializing in this genre, which is known for Rock Band series and a Dance Central cycle.

Mechanics

The gameplay in Fuser is about mixing music. Using the DJ controller, which is the basic tool of every DJ's work, we can combine vocals and mix instrumental tracks from different songs, but also enrich the created "sets" with additional sound effects. Our actions are evaluated by the scoring system, so it is worth taking care of smooth transitions and keeping the right rhythm. If we are satisfied with our work, nothing stands in the way of sharing it with the community.

The list of more than one hundred songs available in this production includes tracks representing various music genres, such as pop, rap, hip-hop, R&B, dance, country, rock or Latin American or Caribbean music. These include works by such artists as Billie Eilish, The Chainsmokers, Lady Gaga, Imagine Dragons, Lil Nas X, Lizzo, Migos, Post Malone, 50 Cent and Fatboy Slim.

Game modes

In Fuser, we will find three game modes. The first one is Career, in which we play the role of a beginner DJ and lead him from humble beginnings until his fame gives him the opportunity to play at the biggest music festivals. The second one is Freestyle, which allows for free mixing, while the third one, i.e. Multiplayer, allows you to compete with other players.

Technical aspects

Fuser has high quality, colourful graphics, maintained in an eye-pleasing cartoon style. The impressive backgrounds may be particularly appealing, but the clear and intuitive interface also deserves attention. The game does not require any dedicated controller to play.
