A sequel of the Polish fighting game developed by World Software in 1994. After more than two decades, the creators have decided to work on a continuation. You assume the role of Franko from the original title, who was washing dishes in Great Britain for years. Finally, he makes up his mind and goes back to his hometown in Poland. The hero’s turbulent past got him into new trouble, which assault him already on his way home.

Skinny & Franko: Fists of Violence is a beat'em up by a Polish studio Blue Sunset Games. It's a sequel to Franko: The Crazy Revenge, a game from the 1990s iconic in its native country. The player once again plays as the titular anti-hero, returning to his homeland to help his friend.

Plot

The game is set twenty-eight years after its predecessor. After massacring his way through the streets of Szczecin and avenging his friend Alex, Franko left Poland and spent a few decades abroad. Older and more experienced, he now returns to his homeland to help his friend Skinny, once again facing off against local criminals and gangsters. Like its predecessor, the game is set in a reality familiar to Poles and features lots of vulgar, violent, explicit humor.

Mechanics

Gameplay-wise,Fists of Violence is a 2D beat 'em up game tasking us with traversing various stages and fighting hordes of enemies. Our heroes have various attacks and techniques they can chain into combos. Scattered across the maps are various weapons - bats, knives, pipes, guns - which can be used until they break. There are also powerful special moves and environmental attacks, such as breaking windows by bashing the grappled enemy's head through them. The game is divided into eight levels, each set in a different location. We'll also face off against tough bosses and drive a car through certain stages.

Game modes

Skinny & Franko: Fists of Violence supports singleplayer and local co-op for two people. The playable characters are Skinny and Franko, each with different playstyles and movesets.
