An arcade social game, based on the license of a French quiz show that has the same title. In Fort Boyard: The Game, gamers play the role of the participants of the show and have to perform various tasks in the titular stronghold, with the aim of gaining access to the vault.

Fort Boyard: The Game is an arcade social game released by Microids, in which the action is shown from the third person perspective (TPP). The production has colourful graphics maintained in a cartoony style.

Fort Boyard: The Game is based on the license of a quiz show under the same title, which is popular mainly in France. In each episode, a group of six participants travels through the titular fort, carrying out various tasks and showing dexterity, strength and cleverness of mind. The challenges are completed in order to gain access to the fort treasury, which is filled with gold coins (so-called Boyards).
