The 21st mainline part of the popular series of football strategy games from Sports Interactive. Football Manager 2025 will feature major technological changes and they're a result of changing the game's engine to Unity.
Football Manager 25 is the twenty-first main instalment in the best-selling football manager series, started in 2004 (and previously known as Championship Manager). The game was developed by Sports Interactive studio, which has been overseeing the series from the beginning.
Premier League, Unity engine and other new features
List of new features in Football Manager 25 is opened by the inclusion of the Premier League, the world's largest football league. Apart from it, other leagues and countries are making their debut here, the list of which has significantly increased. The cherry on top is women's football. Female football players joins their male colleagues in the profession.
Football Manager 25 brings a breath of fresh air in the form of a new engine – Unity. It provides technological and visual progress (for example in the form of new player animations). In addition, the authors focused on the user interface, which was made more elegant and transparent.
Gameplay
The gameplay in Football Manager 25 is based on the scheme developed by earlier parts of the series. The game allows for the import of saved game states from Football Manager 2024.
During the game we take control of a football team and our task is to lead it to the top. On the way, we need to take care of the finances, composition and infrastructure (by making transfers and recruiting players, as well as hiring staff members). Besides, we need to monitor the psychophysical condition of each of the footballers (by organizing training and courses), or also determine the team's tactics for the next matches.
Of course, there is no shortage of official licenses. Thanks to this, we are dealing with real players, teams and leagues. They power a vast database, updated by informants operating around the globe.

The Sports Interactive team and SEGA decided to cancel Football Manager 25. The developers will instead focus on the next installment of the series.
