Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location

Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location for PC, AND and iOS is a spin-off of the Five Nights at Freddy's series. This horror game was created by Scott Cawthon - an independent developer behind production of all the previous installments in the series.

Plot

As the title suggests, Sister Location focuses on a restaurant different to that from Five Nights at Freddy's, though the titular place belongs to the same restaurant chain and makes use of animatronic mascots as well. The protagonist is forced to stay several nights at the restaurant. What is definitely bad for his health however, is that mechanical animals come to life at night and begin their hunt for everyone inside the place.

Although Sister Location remains close to the Five Nights at Freddy's series in terms of the plot, the game was created in such a way that being familiar with the franchise is not required to enjoy the scenario.

Mechanics

Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location for PC, AND and iOS is a horror game combining elements of stealth and logic games together. The player's task here is to make it to the dawn alive. It is not an easy task however, for hostile mechanicals are loitering around the building. The player is required to conceal themselves, observe their movements through cameras and lock the doors to the protagonist's hideout in such a way that the animatronics are unable to reach them. The entire challenge here is to manage the small amount of electric power appropriately throughout the night, so it suffices for electricity-driven doors and a monitoring system. The cameras are old and transmit static pictures only - those are updated in every several seconds. This combined with the building's half-broken lighting system makes it hard to see the incoming threat in time. As a result, the player has to remain cautious, plan their actions ahead and always be ready to improvise.
