Final Fantasy Agito XIII, released on PSP, is a spin-off of the well-known series of jRPGs. The game was developed by Square-Enix, a Japanese company specializing in this genre (The Last Remnant, Final Fantasy series).
Plot
Final Fantasy Agito XIII is set in the war-torn world of Orience. Although four countries have officially concluded peace, it turned out that the leader of Milites began military operations. The last line of defense is a small nation living on an island protected by the power of the crystal and a god called Suzaku. For unknown reasons, however, the crystal was suddenly destroyed.
Mechanics
Our task is to save the kingdom and repel the enemy's army. The game begins at the Akademeia and we play as one of the students who want to become the titular Agito. In addition to the university grounds, we can also visit a large world, talk to many NPCs and participate in numerous side events.
We have access to a large number of interesting characters and warriors. They use swords, katanas, pistols, rifles, maces, bows, spears, scythes, Tarot cards, flutes, and many other interesting weapons. Each of the dozen or so students can also summon powerful creatures (e.g. Odin). The creators decided to use a combat system similar to that from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (PSP), although there were some modifications. Fights combine turn-based gameplay with dynamic action.
An important aspect of Agito is an extensive online mode, in which we can ally with other players. The title also offers most of the characteristics of each edition of Final Fantasy. The plot is therefore very complex, the characters are extremely charismatic, and the fights are spectacular. The whole was maintained in a specific manga style.
