Final Cut: Death on the Silver Screen Description
Final Cut: Death on the Silver Screen is the first original game in the Serbian studio Eipix Entertainment, known in the industry mainly for subcontracting for larger developers.
The action of the game was set in the so-called golden era of Hollywood, i.e. the 1930s. Morton Wolf, a well-known inventor and tycoon of the film industry, is murdered. To make matters worse, his son Frederick disappeared somewhere. Concerned about the development of the situation, the daughter returns to the family estate to solve the mystery of her father's death and determine where her brother's sharing....
Playing as the main character, the player has to cope with a variety of tasks. Some of them are puzzles of the "hidden objects" type. (hidden objects game). In other cases it is a matter of manipulating elements of the environment and using objects from the equipment window or simple mini-games of a logical and arcade character.
The creators prepared several dozen atmospheric locations, presenting, among others, the interiors of the magnificent producer's estate, scenery from film sets, as well as the inventor's workshop. Sceneries and user interface elements are kept in an art deco style.
In the visual layer of the game, the combination of two-dimensional backgrounds with animations of characters made in live-motion technology (real actors) is the most noteworthy. Developers also took care of multi-theme soundtrack and professional lector dubbing.
