Fighting Steel takes up a topic that is rarely found on the screens of our computers. We are talking about a realistic simulator of sea battles and battles of the Second World War. The authors of the game put great emphasis on the most faithful representation of the realities of authentic events from more than half a century ago. Also, all ships have been mapped based on photos, and in combination with full rendering and texturing it gives a pretty good effect. Thanks to the use of an automatic camera, the player can track the action from many shots.
- three-dimensional visual effects: smoke, bad weather, night, stars and darkness-lighting race.
- over 90 classes of ships from British, German, American and Japanese fleets from 1939-1942.
- random generator of meetings at sea or scenario editor.
- possibility to control armadas consisting of multiple ships and/or individual vessels.
- 4 campaigns (each for one of the fleets) involving the struggle of Brits with Germans in the Atlantic and Americans and Japanese in the Guadalcanal area.
