The expansion introduces large agricultural areas in Eastern Europe, together with their characteristic climatic conditions. Apart from that, there are 20 new, licensed agricultural machines by such producers as Zetor, Tatra, Rostselmash, and Farmtech.

Farming Simulator 15: Official Expansion for PC is a big expansion for the 2014 release, Farming Simulator 15. Primarily, the expansion introduces new, huge land areas in Eastern Europe, where the agricultural adventure awaits. The developer provided players with 20 new agriculture machines – now you can drive tractors, harvesters, and trucks produced by such constructors as Zetor, Tatra, Rostselmash, and Farmtech. The title is developed by the creators of the core title and other instalments of Farming Simulator – GIANTS Software. The core game is required to run the expansion.

This expansion in digital distribution for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One has a different title – Farming Simulator 15: Gold. The version for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 - Farming Simulator 15: Silver is somewhat limited.

Mechanics

The core principles of Farming Simulator 15: Official Expansion for PC do not differ significantly from those of the previous instalments of the game. Your primary objective is to earn money by farming fields, harvesting, and breeding animals. In order for your farm to flourish, the player needs to invest in better and more effective machinery and equipment. The title introduces forest management which enables you to log timber with equipment produced by New Holland and Ponsse, which also is new to the game.
