After splitting from the former publisher, the developer decided to continue the series under a completely new brand – Farm Expert.

Farm Expert 2016 for PC is yet another title of the very popular horticulture-economic simulation games that have been developed for several years by a few studios independent of each other. The game is created by PlayWay studio, the fathers of the Farm Machines Championship series and the previous instalments of the Professional Farmer series developed in cooperation with UIG Entertainment. After splitting from the UIG, the developer decided to continue the series under a completely new brand – Farm Expert.

Mechanics

In the game you assume the role of a farmer who has to plant various crops and fruits, rear livestock, and buy new machines and agricultural equipment while managing and expanding the business. The game features more than 170 licensed and accurately reproduced machines designed for different agricultural purposes during different seasons.

There are two maps offering more than 80 croplands that can be sowed or planted with eight types of crops, beetroots, potatoes, or green forage. Just like the previous titles by PlayWay, Farm Expert 2016 offers fruit tree planting and harvesting by means of specialised machines. For those who are more into livestock breeding, there is cattle, poultry, horses, sheep, and goats.

Game modes

Farm Expert 2016 introduces both single and multiplayer, so you can harvest on your own as well as with your friends.

Technical aspects

Compared to the previous titles developed by PlayWay, Farm Expert 2016 for PC utilises new, more advanced visuals along with the improved, more realistic physics of controlling agricultural machines. The new technology enables the machines to react to road obstacles, wheel-ruts, and dirt. The game can be modified by players, so the modding enthusiasts have a chance of creating their own 3D models of machines and buildings.
