Fantasy Wars Description
Fantasy Wars for PC is a classic, turn-based strategy taking place in a fantasy universe. This short introduction instantly brings famed Heroes of Might & Magic or Disciples series into the picture. However, Fantasy Wars places more emphasis on tactical aspects of each encounter, fortunately without forfeiting the role-playing elements.
Plot
The game’s world is controlled by four races – humans, dwarves, orcs, and elves – a group well-known to every fantasy fan. The player can assume control of a leader of each army, with the storyline being an important part of the whole set.
Mechanics
The developers prepared three campaigns, brimming with engaging missions. Fantasy Wars is mainly built from skirmishes and exploration segments. Our troops, as well as their commander accumulate experience throughout the whole path. The battles are not just a turn-based clash of a lump of forces – we need to employ various tactics to emerge victorious from the encounters, as well as use different units to make use of different terrain formations which can influence the course of any battle.
Creation and continuous development of our army is one of our main duties. The game contains over 70 different types of units that are different not only in terms of looks, but also their use on the battlefield. Our units can be upgraded, making them stronger, as well as more versatile. Magic is also an important feature of the game – we can learn more and more powerful spells that can turn the tide of even the toughest battle. However, magic is not the only way, as the world is full of artifacts that can also make a good deal of damage to enemy formations.
Technical Aspects
Visually, Fantasy Wars is an eye-catching title. The game sports a detailed, fully 3D environment that is the background to the ensuing battles. Unit models are also richly detailed, and fun to watch. Fantasy Wars also contains a fully-fledged multiplayer module, in which the game plays out on one computer, while players switch using the popular hot-seat mode.

Strategy
December 21, 2007
A fantasy turn-based strategy game by Ino-Co and a sequel to Fantasy Wars. Elven Legacy is set in the same world as its predecessor — the world, in which elves are trying to restore the former glory of their race. However, someone is trying to gain access to an ancient magic, their Great Tree, which grants the ability of reincarnation. The game features two independent campaigns, in which you can play as either the leader of the army of elves or the army of men, and a range of bonus missions, in which you can also lead e.g. the orcish forces. Compared to the first installment, the gameplay mechanics have stayed mostly the same. Elven Legacy, however, features new characters, unique abilities, spells, battle units, and artifacts. The AI algorithms have been upgraded and new available tactics have been added.
