A life simulation game with role-playing elements, set in a fantasy realm. You choose one of twelve character classes and go on various adventures, either on your own or with other players.
Fantasy Life Online is the direct sequel to Fantasy Life, released in 2012 for Nintendo 3DS. Like it's predecessor, the production, developed by Level 5, is a life simulation game with role-playing elements. It is set in a fantasy realm, and can be played on your own or with other players.
Mechanics
Fantasy Life Online utilizes an isometric view. You choose of twelve classes for your character; the classes have been divided into three categories, which allows you to play as an experienced warrior, resource expert, or craftsman.
Your primary objective is to develop the village you and other players live in. Apart from that, you visit various locations and complete quests. An important aspect is also the real-time combat with mechanics similar to those in hack'n'slash games. As the game progresses, you earn experience points and level up.
Game mode
You can play Fantasy Life Online either on your own or in an online multiplayer mode.
Technical aspects
Like the first installment of the series, Fantasy Life Online featured pleasant, colorful visuals. The game utilizes a free-to-play model with microtransactions.
