Another installment in the popular series of RPG games that depict the life of a farmer. The game was developed by studio Natsune and is part of a series that was started in the second half of the 90s. In Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories the player becomes a novice farmer and is tasked with rebuilding the former prosperity of a farm and gaining sympathy of the inhabitants of a nearby city by completing various story quests.

Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories is a farming jRPG game released on PC, AND and etc.. It was developed by the Japanese studio Natsune.

The game returns to the roots of the series; its gameplay is based on few first entries in the saga. However, the developers added many new features, making it much more than a simple remake. In the game, the player becomes a beginning farmer who is tasked with returning a farm to its former glory. The player must also befriend the citizens of a nearby city. Their friendship can be established with small favors such as giving them gifts, catching a giant fish or helping them in taking care of a cow. For helping them, the player receives the seeds of memories that contain record of most important moments in the life of a character. During the campaign the player must collect all of the seeds of memories.

During the game one must plant seeds and gather crops. There are also animals in the farm such as cows, sheep and chickens. The player can buy a horse to ride on and a companion dog. It is also possible to tame a lynx, but it is a hard task.

In addition to participating in farming activities, the player can also cook, go fishing and work in mines. Special tools that can be upgraded or changed into better models are used during the game. It is also possible to participate in country festivals. The protagonist must also search for his second half – there are five potential wives or husbands in the game (depending on which gender the player selects at the beginning of the game).

Harvest Moon Series

A series of life simulations, enriched with RPG elements and solutions from the economic strategy genre. Its roots date back to 1996, when on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System console appeared the first Harvest Moon. The game received a moderately warm reception from gamers and critics (its average rating on Gamerankings was just over 73/100). Nevertheless, its good sales encouraged the authors to develop the idea, which in time resulted in the creation of a whole series. Over the years, successive installments of the series have been released on a variety of platforms - from desktop consoles, handhelds and mobile devices to personal computers.
