Factory Town is a city builder strategy game with fantasy elements. Player's task is to develop his own village on procedurally generated maps. The game was developed and released by one man named Erik Asmussen.

Mechanics

Factory Town takes players to procedurally generated maps. Players have the ability to adjust its parameters, such as the terrain, which allows them to adjust the difficulty level. Initially, player's village has one building and several workers at its disposal. One has to expand this settlement using the resources on the map.

An important element of the game is the creation of an efficient transport network, which will guarantee a constant supply of food and goods, such as medicines and clothing for the inhabitants, and will make it possible to maintain the production chain. For this purpose, a number of structure types are available to build - from roads, through conveyor belts, to railways. In addition, the course of the routes that the resource travels can be controlled by the logical gateways or filters.
