Codemasters has been specializing in car games for years (including DiRT and F1 series). Looking for new audiences for their products, British developers decided to prepare a proposal addressed to enthusiasts of playing through web browsers.

F1 Online: The Game is designed to combine elements of a sports manager with racing. Players have the opportunity to test themselves behind the wheel of super-fast Formula 1 cars, but also to take care of the management of the racing team. According to the creators' assurances, this allows us to get to know the world of Formula 1 from different perspectives. For the same reason, the game in F1 Online: The Game is divided into two components. The first of them, i.e. team management, requires, among other things, acquiring sponsors and conducting research on the development of new technologies, which, in turn, translates into the capabilities of the car.

Racing is a separate element of fun. The races on tracks (both authentic and fictional) are presented from the bird's eye view, and the model itself is definitely skillful. Just like in a real Grand Prix competition, the competition is attended by live opponents. In order to get acquainted with the car and the driving model, you can use the Time Attack option, where you can ride freely on the track to beat the designated time. For beginners there is also a tutorial, in which we will learn the secrets of effective use of the KERS and DRS systems.

Although F1 Online: The Game uses the official FIA license, the developers have taken care of a wide range of personalization options, including the ability to design their own team colours and paint the car. There's no shortage of powerful social features that allow you to invite your friends to the race or show off your achievements.

F1 Online: The Game has a very good visuals for browser production. Much of this is due to the powerful Unity Engine. It is worth noting that some graphic elements were borrowed directly from F1 2011, which is a tribute to the fans of the simulation series.
