The F-19 Stealth Fighter is an aircraft simulator developed in 1988 by Sid Meier for MicroProse, a company known for this type of production. Although the aeroplane to which this game was devoted does not actually exist, at one time it was sleeping with the eyes of all military fans and conspiracy theorists, who talked about secret projects of an undetectable fighter.

The programme offers a substantial set of missions taking place in various parts of the world: Libya, the Persian Gulf, Central Europe and Scandinavia. Depending on the approach to the subject of the simulation, the player can freely influence many factors determining the realism of the flight (e.g. facilitated take-off and landing, preventing a crash, etc.). The machine in the air behaves quite efficiently, although compared to later MicroProse production, we can talk about great simplifications in relation to faithful flight reproduction. Noteworthy is the huge amount of weapons that can be "pinned" to the deck of the fighter, the variety of enemy units and the presence of civilian machines in the skies. We can also find here lures, flares and other systems that can make a significant contribution to the outcome of air combat. All player's actions are recorded in a special career card - we can find here, among other things, the number of points that we managed to obtain during the performance of individual missions.
