Eyes

Eyes is a first-person perspective horror game released on iOS and AND. The game was developed by Paulina Pabis.

Plot

The action takes place in a gloomy residence that contains numerous treasures. We play as a thief who decides to steal them. Unfortunately for us, the house is haunted and its interior is inhabited by a bloodthirsty wraith.

Mechanics

Eyes, released on iOS and AND, is a variation of the gameplay model popularized by Slender: The Eight Pages. Events are observed from a first-person perspective, and the controls work similarly to FPS games. The player's task is to find twenty sacks of valuables hidden in the house and then escape from the residence. It is not easy, because the house is quite large, treasures are often well-hidden, and we have to avoid being caught by the wraith. We can't defend ourselves, so in order to survive we have to hide or try to escape from the enemy.

The symbols of the eye, which can be found on the walls, are here to help the player. After activating them, for a brief moment, we are able to see what the wraith is seeing. This provides us with information about where the wraith is and gives us a chance to avoid meeting it. The map is also helpful - it fills up every time you discover a new room or a corridor.
