EVE: Galaxy Conquest

EVE Galaxy Conquest is a 4X strategy game set in the EVE Online universe. The game tasks us with conquering subsequent sectors of outer space, fighting or allying with other players. The game was developed by CCP Shanghai.

Mechanics

We start EVE Galaxy Conquest by choosing one of the available factions (Caldari, Gallente, Amarr and Minmatar), which affects the units available during the game. Once that's done, we take control of a small space base. The player must gradually discover and conquer neighboring regions, using acquired resources to develop our headquarters and unlock new tech. We must also develop our commanders and fleet, taking into account the strengths and weaknesses of the leaders and units.

Following the example of EVE Online, one of the game's key elements are politics and large-scale battles. The center of each sector is a mighty fortress requiring combined forces of many players to conquer. These sieges are a great opportunity to create mighty alliances, since thousands of players can participate in battles at once. It's worth noting the situation in EVE Galaxy Conquest always develops dynamically and players can betray each other to achieve their own goals.
