EVE Frontier

Gameplay

At its core, EVE Frontier is a survival sandbox in which we control our spaceship and traverse a vast map, taking part in battles and gathering valuable resources. A material called Crude Matter is very valuable, because it is the basic source of energy for the inhabitants of this region.

Who we choose to play during the game depends solely on our whim. We can become space adventurers, industrial giants, or discoverers whose main occupation is exploration. As we progress, we meet other players with whom we can cooperate and create teams that over time turn into real space syndicates. Of course, there is nothing to stop us from joining existing groups.

The game world is governed by complex laws that the authors call Digital Physics. The controls in the game are realistic, and when flying through space and fighting enemies, we must not only monitor all of the ship's systems, but also skillfully use the environment.

The resources we collect along the way can be sold, used to repair and upgrade spaceships or spent on building various structures. Thanks to the mechanic called Smart Assemblies, the objects we build can be programmed to serve. For example, they can be used for defense, storage of various goods, industry or trade. With its help we can also develop our own systems of missions assigned to other players.

Blockchain

EVE Frontier is based on blockchain technology and uses cryptocurrencies to handle in-game transactions. The idea is to allow players to earn money from their creations, which in turn is to encourage them to participate in the process of expanding the game and filling its world with content they create.

Game modes

EVE Frontier only allows for multiplayer gameplay over the Internet.

Engine

EVE Frontier uses the proprietary Carbon engine. The source code of this technology is completely open and players can develop their own functionalities, as well as create new elements of the game world and edit existing ones.
