Europa Universalis IV: Conquest of Paradise Description
Europa Universalis IV: Conquest of Paradise is the first big expansion for Europa Universalis IV, a grand strategy game released in 2013. The expansion requires the original game installed in order to work.
Just like the title suggests, the expansion focuses on the conquest of the New World. Ruling the European countries, we set out to discover both Americas, but there is also the possibility of taking control of the natives and defending their lands against the overseas invaders. Exploring the new lands is a fascinating adventure thanks to the system of random province generation. Thanks to this, each game offers new challenges and events. Europa Universalis IV: Conquest of Paradise is the very first production of Paradox Interactive which utilizes this kind of solution.
The course of game depends on the player’s decisions. Leading European nations, we may peacefully interact with the native tribes and commence a mutually beneficial trade exchange, but we may also forcefully take their lands from them. While playing Europeans, it is necessary to found colonies and then manage them. There is also the possibility of starting out as a colony, and then try to become an independent state.
The developers prepared an extended system of ruling the native tribes of both Americas. They got new federal mechanisms and their own technologies and buildings. In total, we may take control of one of 24 tribes. Moreover, there is an impressive set of new events and story choices available.
