Europa Universalis: Crown of the North is another real-time strategy game of the very popular Europa Universalis series by Paradox Entertainment. This time around, the action takes place between years 1275-1340, in the time when Europe was ruled by aristocracy and the Church, and a civil war broke out in Sweden. Taking control over Norway, Sweden or Denmark, the player gets to change the fate of the people living in the north of the Old Continent according to his liking.
- Three nations (Sweden, Denmark, Norway) and six different factions to choose from.
- Three campaigns based in the world of Europa Universalis II and an alternate campaign set in independent Europe and Vinland (North America discovered by Vikings).
- Advanced and improved political, economic, military and trade dependencies. Only those who can manage all these elements can lead his country to victory over the rest.
