Official addition to the EF2000 simulator from Digital Image Design. The extension requires a basic DOS version of the game, introducing a number of technical improvements and moving the game to a Windows 95 environment.

EF2000: TACTCOM is the official addition to the EuroFighter 2000 Fighter Simulator released in 1995. The Digital Image Design studio, an extension to the game, apart from new missions, introduces a whole range of significant technical improvements.

TACTCOM offers everything you can expect from a simulation game add-on - new missions and action areas. The essence of the extension, however, is to expand the original DOS game with a number of new features, while eliminating the imperfections of the original. The set includes all patches released after the release of the game, thanks to which we can enjoy, among others, a slightly modified interface, improved tactical map and new algorithms of camera work, allowing to watch events in the whole theatre. The most important of the introduced novelties, however, is an extensive editor, which enables precise planning of own missions and detailed statistics, available after their completion.

In EF2000: TACTCOM, graphics have been improved, including the addition of smoke from fast-paced rockets. New possibilities have opened up by moving the game to Windows 95 and working with DirectX libraries and 3Dfx cards. Network gameplay options have also been improved. Owners of the original game can purchase the extension itself - for all the others there is a special package Super EF2000, containing a "stand" with the addition of TACTCOM.
