Dwarf Quest Description
Dwarf Quest is the work of the development team of the independent Wild Card Games studio. The ambition of the creators was to remind players of the classic dungeon crawler game originally published in 1992.
The main character of the Dwarf Quest is Morrin Firebeard. A proud and fearless dwarf warrior wanders through forgotten undergrounds in search of adventures and treasures. On the way to fame and riches, however, there are numerous traps and enemies led by the undead wizard of Azar.
The basis of the game is to explore the vast underground corridors. The hero moves between chambers at 9 available levels. Indoors, you will often encounter treasure-loaded crates, mechanisms that need to be activated, as well as numerous enemies.
The fight plays an important role in the game. It takes place in turn-based system and is based on simple rules. The order of attacks is determined by the number of available points of the initiative, and each action taken in a given turn generates a specific cost. As befits a cRPG production, together with the experience gained, it is possible to develop the hero's skills.
In the technical layer, Dwarf Quest uses the capabilities of the popular Unity engine. However, the three-dimensional graphical environment in the game is not too detailed and clearly indicates the low-budget nature of production.
