Turn-based RPG game, in which we find ourselves in a fantastic world, full of various creatures to be defeated. While playing, we form a team from our heroes and use it to fight against dragons, ninjas and various monsters.
Dungeon Boss is a free-to-play game created by the small team at Boss Fight Entertainment. The company was founded in 2013, although its ranks include veterans who have worked on the Age of Empires, Rise of Nations and Halo Wars series, among others. The publishing of the project was taken care of by Big Fish Games, a company known for its various adventure games.
Mechanics
The title is a representative of the RPG genre with strategic elements. Gameplay in Dungeon Boss is based on several principles. The basic element is the forming of a party of several people from the available heroes, which we then develop during the adventure, gaining better skills. Once we have gathered our party, we set off to conquer dungeons. Not only regular opponents (ninjas, skeletons, various beasts, etc.), usually posing no major problems, but also powerful bosses stand in our way. The battles take place in a turn-based system and consist of selecting individual powers and selecting the opponents who are to be affected. Gameplay is not too complicated, but it provides a lot of tactical possibilities.
A lot of emphasis was put on multiplayer. Players can connect with other people and perform more difficult tasks together. Later on, we can also create our own dungeons and defend them from enemy invasions.
Technical aspects
The production boasts high quality three-dimensional visuals. The title adapts a cartoonish style, which effectively masks any deficiencies. Additionally, while playing Dungeon Boss, we are accompanied by a variety of special effects, which are shown when using special skills.
Other
Dungeon Boss for AND and iOS is a free application that uses a system of energy and microtransactions. For money we can buy virtual gold and crystals, used for example to buy new heroes and replenish lives.
