Driving Simulator 2009 is a realistic simulation of driving a passenger car. Players can try their hand at the wheel of several classes' cars on the roads of the virtual metropolis. Studio production Lightrock Entertainment was created for driving school students, as well as for those who want to improve their skills behind the wheel.

Driving Simulator 2009 is an attempt by the Lightrock Entertainment development team to realistically reproduce the driving conditions of a modern passenger car in a large city. The game was created for people who are trying to get permissions, but also for drivers who want to improve their driving skills.

In the course of the game, players can face the most common situations on the roads. Individual tasks help to understand basic traffic rules and to develop proper habits. Dozens of vehicles controlled by artificial intelligence move through the streets of a virtual metropolis, which increases the realism of simulation.

The driving model used in the Driving Simulator 2009 takes into account a number of physical factors affecting the car in motion, such as understeer and inertia. The driving experience of a real car can be further enhanced by using the controller in the form of a steering wheel.
