A role-playing game with economic strategy elements by Gameloft. The production is heavily inspired by the Pokemon franchise — it is set on the Dragonlandia Island, and your task is to collect over 300 species of dragons and develop their skills. As the game progresses, they get stronger and more resilient, and also learn special attacks.
Dragon Mania Legends is an RPG with economic strategy elements, a specialty of the fame's developers from Gamelofte. The developer does not need to be introduced to any lover of mobile productions, because the team is responsible for many hits, including the Asphalt series, Modern Combat 5: Blackout or Real Football.
Mechanics
In the game we find ourselves in a fantasy world called Dragoland, in which we have to deal with dragons. The gameplay resembles a bit the famous Pokemon series, because in the game we collect and develop the creatures. Of course, we use them in combat, improving their skills, strength and endurance, so that we can fight against trainers from better leagues or in the arena. In addition, we can take our pupils to the academy, where we teach them special attacks. Altogether there are more than 300 representatives of different types of fire-breathing reptiles to be caught.
But that's not all Dragon Mania Legends has to offer. In pauses between the battles we have to develop a dragon island. We build various buildings on it, for which we raise money not only during fights, but also by taking care of the creatures. Interestingly, we are not limited only to our village, because we can also visit other players' territories, exchange gifts or chat with them using the built-in chat.
Other
Dragon Mania Legends is a free application that is distributed by Gameloft on a free-to-play basis. This means that microtransactions have been used in the application, e.g. to enable faster dragon development.
