An action platformer with RPG and roguelike elements from the authors of Blade Assault. Dragon is Dead allows us to play as a dragon slayer. We participate in dynamic battles, collecting runes, artifacts and other valuable loot from the battles we won.

Dragon is Dead is an action platformer with RPG and roguelike elements. The game was developed by the independent studio TeamSuneat, which previously delivered a similar genre project Blade Assault. Its release was handled by PM Studios.

Plot

The action of Dragon is Dead takes place in a dark fantasy land. Although it was devastated by dragons, the winged reptiles were finally defeated by the gods. Only their leader - Guernian - remains alive and still poses a threat to the world. During the game we play as a Dragon Slayer burning with rage, who sets out on a perilous journey to kill Guernian.

Gameplay

In Dragon is Dead we watch the action from the side. While traveling through various, but equally gloomy locations, we face hordes of enemies - monsters created by Guernian, among whom we can find both common enemies and powerful bosses. During dynamic battles, it's worth observing the movements of adversaries to discover their weak points and potential gaps in their defense.

On the battlefield, we use melee weapons and various combat skills. Additionally, along the way we collect runes, which we can combine with each other, thus creating legendary items. We also acquire artifacts, which further increase our combat potential. Artifacts release various synergies, so it is worth experimenting with different combinations.

As we progress, we develop our character and acquire new equipment, which allows us to face increasingly greater challenges over time. We have to start the journey all over again when we die, however we keep our equipment and runes. This means that we are gradually becoming more powerful.
