A fighting game created by Dimps Corporation, based on the movie of the same title. Both products use the license of a very popular manga created by Akira Toriyama. The players assume the role of Goku, who is tasked with finding the legendary Dragon Balls to save humanity from the evil plans of its longtime adversary – Piccolo.

Dragonball Evolution is a brawl based on a feature film of the same title. Both products are based on the famous Japanese animated series Dragon Ball. The studio Dimps Corporation is responsible for creating an electronic version of the new story taking place in this universe.

In the game we play the character of the characteristic Goku, who, as usual, saves the world from extinction. The plot of the film and its electronic version refers to the early series of Dragon Ball, so it tells of the evil intentions of Lord Piccolo. The brave Goku must collect the mythical seven Dragon Balls, which have the incredible power to fulfill wishes. Only they can save humanity from destruction. The adventure in Story Mode was shown in the form of short fights and feature interludes, leading to the final duel with the main opponent.

The title contains an easy and easy to use combat system, which is at the same time a big challenge for more demanding users. During the duels we use not only conventional blows, but also the characteristic energy of Ki, allowing for example to throw energy in enemies (e.g. the famous Kamehameha). Each character also received several additional indicators and the ability to charge energy (needed to perform powerful attacks).

In addition to the possibility of playing Goku (Story Mode), the creators also prepared several other forms of fun. In Arcade Mode we fight a few more enemies. Also interesting is the Mission mode, in which we have to meet a variety of challenges, unlocking additional content. Training, on the other hand, allows you to train your own combat skills. We can try them later in a duel with another player in the local network.

Naturally, various available characters are an important part of the game. In this version of the Dragon Ball series we can for the first time play the combat version of Bulma. In addition to it they will appear: Roshi, Piccolo, Yamcha, Chi Chi, Mai, Grandpa Gohan, Oozaru. The whole was developed using very average graphics. The product is maintained in a filmic style, so well-known manga characters have been replaced by images of actors.
