Digimon World Re:Digitize is the tenth installment of a series of games inspired by the popular anime universe and the first prepared for the technical capabilities of the PlayStation Portable handheld console. The production is the responsibility of the Japanese studio Tri-Crescendo, which previously worked on such titles as Blue Dragon DS, Eternal Sonata or Fragile.

The main character of Digimon World Re:Digitize is a 14-year-old who entered the virtual world of Digimon playing a popular online game. Unfortunately, returning home turns out to be extremely difficult. Luckily, the boy can count on the help of digital creatures. Thanks to the found device, he is able to communicate with Digimons, who in exchange for care become his allies.

The creators set themselves the goal of making the game a real return to the roots of the series. Digimon World Re:Digitize is based on classic solutions. A player-controlled hero must travel through five vast levels of the virtual world. On the way he is accompanied by the title Digimony, including the fiery Agumon. They are valuable allies in combat, but they also require care. In order for creatures to fully develop their skills (going through several stages - from infancy to adulthood), they must be fed, treated, bandaged, etc., and in order for them to develop their skills, they must be fed, treated, and so on. Neglected people can in turn die. Over time, the hero can also change his companion, and the successor always inherits some of his predecessor's attributes and statistics.

The Digimon World Re:Digitize visuals are anime style. Graphics combine 3D and 2D elements. The well-known Japanese draughtsman â€oSuzuhito Yasuda†is responsible for the design of the character models.
